1 . General
All orders accepted by Pant Glas Bach Preserves are subject to these terms and conditions of sale, which supersede any previous terms and conditions.
All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products, specifications may vary slightly.
Orders will usually be despatched within 24 hours of receipt, however please allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you require express delivery please request via email and we will endeavour to ensure this takes place.
Deliveries are made by either Courier or, with certain products, by Royal Mail.
Carriage prices cover all mainland UK addresses.However deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man can be arranged for an additional charge please contact Pant Glas Bach Preserves for details.
All address information must be accurate, including the postcode and recipients phone number.Pant Glas Bach Preserves cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the quoted address is incorrect.
Parcels may need a signature on delivery, our couriers only deliver during working hours so if you cannot be available to accept a parcel, please provide an alternative delivery address.
Pant Glas Bach Preserves offers fast UK delivery. We normally have all the items listed on the website in stock. Occasionally, due to seasonal demand, we have to order the items. We will contact you and inform you of the lead time or offer you a replacement or cancellation of the order.
Our courier, delivers between 9am to 5pm and we are unable to specify an exact delivery time.All deliveries require a signature. Where our courier is unable to find someone to accept delivery they will automatically re-deliver the next working day. If nobody is there on the second day, a card will be left with contact details for the local depot and the item can be collected from there by the recipient. If the recipient fails to make contact within 21 days, the goods are returned to Pant Glas Bach Preserves, and a charge will be incurred for re-delivery.
Pant Glas Bach Preserves will endeavour to deliver on the requested day but delays may occur at busy periods that are beyond their control. In the unlikely event of a delay Pant Glas Bach Preserves can normally provide a courier tracking number to track the shipment made.
Any claims for non delivery, shortages or breakages must be made in writing within two days of delivery.No claims will be entertained after this period.
To assist in prompt despatch, please use the correct product codes and descriptions as supplied on this website. Orders can be sent by telephone, by post or via the order form on this website.
All items subject to availability, an equivalent alternative will be sent in its place.
All prices on the Pant Glas Bach Preserves website are in Pounds Sterling. The price per item you will be charged will be the price advertised on their website at the time you place your order, including, where appropriate, all applicable taxes. Pant Glas Bach Preserves reserve the right to modify the price of any item, or any of the contents contained in their gifts or hamper gift baskets, at any time without prior notice.
In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on their website, Pant Glas Bach Preserves reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling any order at that price. The customer will be notified by telephone or e-mail informing them of the correct price, and given the choice either to proceed with the order or to cancel that item.
Pant Glas Bach Preserves reserves the right to substitute any items included in hampers with items of similar or greater value, if for any reason those listed on the web site are unavailable.
Pant Glas Bach Preserves uses the word Hamper in a general sense to refer to any container used in which they pack a selection of food(s). Where baskets or special containers are used, it is clearly stated.
4 Returns and Claims
Claims will only be settled after faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, etc. will not be replaced or credited.
Similarly, any goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited.
Payment is by cheque or credit card basis with order, by fax, phone, post or web site. Cheques are subject to clearance before delivery.
We reserve the right to charge bank charges on cheques which are represented.
We reserve the right to refuse any credit card transactions.
6 Force Majure
Pant Glas Bach Preserves will make every reasonable effort to ensure that we carry out our contract, we shall not, however, be held liable for any loss, damage or delays due to circumstances beyond our control, such as, but not limited to: Laws and regulations, acts of God, fire, flood, industrial action, judicial action, drought, failure or delays in method of transportation, riots and wars or other cause beyond our control.
7 Online Payment
Pant Glas Bach Preserves takes payments online by clicking on the ‘Add to Basket’ button by your chosen item. You may view your basket at any time by clicking on the ‘View Basket’ button. When you have finished shopping you will be directed to the ‘Checkout’ where you will be assisted through the payment process. Pant Glas Bach Preserves accepts payment by credit and debit card through Paypal. 10 Damaged Goods
All goods damaged or lost in transit will be met in full provided that goods are signed for upon receipt as either "unexamined" or "damaged" and the carriers and Pant Glas Bach Preserves are informed immediately and confirmed in writing within three days of delivery.
Damaged goods need to be retained for inspection and it may be necessary to return the items at Pant Glas Bach Preserves’ expense before replacement or refund, this being at our option. Please ensure returned goods show the full name and address of the sender. Our liability is limited to the selling price of the goods in all cases.
11 Customer Satisfaction
If you are happy with the service you received, or if there are any other items you would like us to stock please let us know.
If you are not happy, we would like to hear from you so that we can improve on the products and services offered in the future.
12 Reservation of Title
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier, but the TITLE in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us.
English law will apply to the contract between us, and the English courts will have jurisdiction in the case of any dispute.
None of the above terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
